Confused about whether to use ydy/yw, mae or sy(dd) with question words? Heres a brief overview of which

verb form goes with which question word in the present tense:

 

Pwy...?

(who)

 

ydy

(identification)

 

 

sy

(when the answer is  the subject of the sentence)

(when the answer is  the object of the sentence)
