There are lots of SSiW meet-ups starting to happen either weekly or monthly and they can be found listed at the end of the weekly email. This is a place to list all the other conversation opportunities that are out there, wherever they may be. Many of them are organised by CYD, local branches of Menter Iaith or Welsh for Adults, but they are all events that welcome learners of different levels and will give you a chance to practise speaking your Welsh with others. If you know of any that aren't on the list (and I'm sure there are lots because I mostly know about the ones near Cardiff) just PM me (Dee) on the SSiW forum, and I'll see that they get added here!
Where the event states Beginner, I would think anyone doing Course 1 could manage fine, and where it says Intermediate, someone doing Course 2 would find they may not know all the vocabulary that is used, but they would generally wouldn't have a problem with the level of fluency. Unless it states otherwise, these groups appear to meet every week. If anyone finds anything different, please let me know.
